Fixed, mobile and IoT infrastructures are coming together as technology evolves, but the user remains the point at which all this technology converges and it is their experience that matters. Network engineering and data science combine to serve the users’ need to communicate with each other and to be entertained and also to understand and control their environment. The ICT industry faces the ongoing challenge to cost-effectively deliver the connectivity and performance required by many different user scenarios using an evolving set of available technologies.

Our Summer conference will include key-note speakers from the ICT industry and Government; with breakout sessions to explore the implications for our post-graduate researchers. We will work through industrial case-studies and provide networking opportunities with experts from the leading technology companies on the UK.

BT’s prestigious event “Innovation 2017” is underway at Adastral at the same time and we are delighted to announce that we have secured a visit to the exhibition as part of the conference. With over 100 technology experts on hand, this will showcase the best research and innovation in the communications industry, and bringing in top speakers to share their views on a range of thought-provoking subjects.

If you are interested in registering, you must do so before the deadline of Monday 15th May 2017.
